Canon 600D, another gem of the Canon DSLR has the capability
to shoot awesome pictures and also the full HD videos at 30 fps, and HD videos
at 60fps. The camera is well equipped to perform in any lighting conditions and
has a large high resolution free angle LCD display which takes the image
capturing to the next level. It has 63 zone metering sensor that makes it
competitive with the high-end DSLRs of other companies. Canon 600 has an 18MP
sensor which is able to capture crisp and clear photographs at a very high
quality having the dimension of 5184 x 2912(16:9) and 4608
x 3456 (4:3). Furthermore, the Digic 4 processor of the camera makes the image
capturing and color reproduction at par with any high end DSLR.
The main feature of Canon 600D that helps you to take
pictures is “Scene intelligent auto”, which automatically adjusts the camera
settings to make the image capturing a piece of cake. By using this feature you
need not to worry about the shutter speed, aperture or any other technical
term, just point it to the subject, focus it and shoot. Other shooting modes
provided by the camera are Creative auto, night portrait, landscape, close-up,
and sports. Although if you want to have
a more clear and detailed snap, you can manually adjust the settings of the
canon 600D which lets you decide how you want to take the picture. Continuous shot enables the user to capture
the images at a speed of 3.7 frames per second and up to 34 JPEG images or 6
RAW images at a time.
The mode dial of the camera has six well defined and
differentiated creative zone features that can be used for different shooting
conditions. These are P(stands for Program Auto), Tv(Shutter Priority),
Av(Aperture Priority), M( Manual), and A-DEP( Automatic Depth of field). The
Canon 600D ha nine auto focus point, which make the subject clear and focused.
And as in other canon digital cameras, the 600d also has the numerous
customizing effects like the toy camera, soft focus, grainy black and white,
miniature effect, and the color shift. To capture the images at low light conditions,
the camera has a wide range of ISO (100-6400, expandable to 12800) which makes
it a fun to capture images in low light. And for those who are not familiar
with the ISO settings, there is also an option of Auto ISO, which automatically
adjusts the ISO for the user.
In order to provide more flexibility to the user, the Canon
600d offers three auto focus modes (One shot, AI Focus and AI Servo). All of
the focus modes are well defined and are easy to use. One more change that you
will find in the Canon 600D is that the camera has well defined user guide for
each function available in the camera, which makes it different from the Canon
550D in which you have to refer to the user manual to understand the features. Live view mode of the Canon 600d provides the
coverage of approximately 99%(both horizontally and vertically). Frame rate of
the view finder id 30fps which make it flawless to look at.
Almost all the controls have been placed at their
traditional place so that the customers can feel familiar with the camera. The
Large LCD at the rear of the Canon 600D has a high resolution of 10400000 dots,
which makes the picture look almost like it would be, when printed. The camera
also has the feature of image stabilization. The canon’s image stabilization
differs from the other brands in the way that the others provide the image
stabilization with respect to their lenses, whereas the Canon 600D provides it
with respect to the body of the camera. This provides more steady images in
comparison to the other brands’ DSLR.
Canon 600D is able to capture the images in both JPEG and
the Canon RAW format, which makes them easier to crop and edit.
The dimensions and weight of the Canon 600D makes the camera
easy to operate and hold with single hand, in spite of the other heavy DSLRs.
Looking at the price and the advanced feature provided by
the Canon 600D, it is the most recommended DSLR for those who want to upgrade
from their point to shoot camera experience to a whole new experience with the
DSLRs.
